The Purn Prakash Trust has been a forerunner in supporting the beti bachao beti padhao campaign. The Trust has been instrumental in taking tangible measures to enhance female literacy as well as sensitising people about the importance of the same. Various talks have been delivered and several awareness campaigns have been organised to bring about a change and create a positive outlook of people towards female education. The project avidly supports literacy in girls thereby ensuring that they graduate and have all the skills necessary to make life decisions successfully. The trust has been successful in holding regular meetings and organising workshops to facilitate a safe and encouraging environment for the girls at school, arranging academic and extra-curricular events to encourage female skill development, holding gender sensitisation programmes with school teachers and parents and providing academic guidance and material support like stationery and books to students.
